Generational Differences in Young Adults’ Life Goals, Concern for Others, and Civic Orientation, 1966–2009

A study of generational differences finds that Millennials place more importance on extrinsic values and exhibit less interest in civic orientation, especially regarding environmental actions (both individual and political).
