Public Says Climate Change is Real

This poll conducted by Monmouth University finds that Americans have become more aware that climate change is happening, although they are divided about the whether humans are the cause. The poll also looks the public’s opinion on sea level rise in America.
In December 2015 nearly 200 nations meet together at the COP21 climate change conference in Paris, where they agreed to take action on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This poll finds that a large majority of Americans acknowledge climate change is happening, although they are divided on whether human activity is mostly responsible for it.
