Americans Strongly In Favor of Plan to Limit Carbon Emissions

Organization: Public Policy Polling

Public Policy Polling interviewed people in 8 swing states: Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. They found that the majority of respondents in all states viewed climate change as a serious problem and favored the Clean Power Plan and politicians who supported it.
A national poll finds that a majority of Americans (and those who voted for President Obama in particular) oppose Congressional intervention requiring the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
